Janinarita Photo is a portrait photography service led by Janina Laakso in Hämeenlinna. I focus on portrait photography — capturing expressions, personality and a genuine connection in front of the camera. My goal is to highlight each subject’s strengths and create images that work both as personal keepsakes and as part of a professional brand. My approach is calm and guiding: I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere both in the studio and during on-location shoots. A studio session offers a controlled environment where lighting and expressions can be fine-tuned, while on-location portraits allow for more narrative context and natural poses. As a photographer I provide gentle posing guidance and discuss your wishes and intended use before the session — whether you want a strong, professional LinkedIn profile image or a softer, more personal portrait. I have specialised expertise in professional portraits and corporate photography. I help entrepreneurs and professionals find the right look for company profiles, marketing materials and social media. In each shoot I consider your brand tone, pleasing composition and a clear visual message so the final images feel both authentic and professional. Although portrait photography is my main focus, I also accept pet photography assignments when schedules and briefs allow. Portraiture is where my skills are most developed, and it’s the area where I can best support clients in presenting themselves with confidence. My aim is to make the whole process effortless and enjoyable: a short pre-session preparation, clear instructions and a warm, encouraging atmosphere give space for genuine expression.
