I’m Aaro J. Savia, a portrait photographer based in Kotka. For me, portrait photography is more than composition and light: it’s a way to discover and capture a person’s expression, attitude and story. I work with a client-centered approach and aim to create a shooting atmosphere where patience and calm allow authenticity to emerge — the result is natural and professional. My specialism is environmental portraiture and personal headshots taken on location. My background in nature photography influences my work: I favour natural light and real environments that add depth and mood to images. Working with me is straightforward and flexible. We begin by planning the shooting style and location together — outdoors, in an office environment or in any setting you prefer. Image editing is done carefully with respect for the client’s wishes, and final photos are delivered digitally.
