I'm Tanja, the portrait photographer behind PolkuVisuals from Lehmo — I work mainly in the Joensuu and Kontiolahti area. For me, portrait photography is a way to meet a person, build trust and tell a story through images that feel genuine. I specialize in personal portraits: from classic social and fashion-style portraits to professional LinkedIn and CV photos. Portraiture is definitely my core expertise. My style is fresh, clean and based on natural light. I always create a safe and relaxed environment so you don't have to pose stiffly or worry too much. You don't need any prior experience in front of the camera — I guide and support you throughout so the result looks and feels like you. Outdoor locations often give photos a soft, narrative quality, but I also have studio equipment if needed — we can shoot at my studio, at your home or at any agreed indoor location. For businesses I also offer professional headshots and corporate photography that support your brand. These services complement my portrait work, but portrait photography is where I feel most at home: a human-centered, gentle and guiding approach comes naturally. I listen to the client's wishes and plan the shoot together: theme, location and mood are discussed in advance via message or, if needed, by phone.
