Studio Theodor is a portrait photographer based in Oulu, focused on the person and their story. Our bright, spacious studio on the edge of Theodor Park (Theodorinpuisto) offers a calm, safe environment for portrait photography — a place to sit, breathe and find the expressions and poses that feel genuinely your own. Our specialism is portrait photography: we master light, composition and the technical craft of creating the decisive moment while seeking out warmth and character in every image. Sessions are planned and executed by our experienced team — Tommi and Seppo — whose combined background brings both visual sensitivity and years of professional expertise to the shoot. Seppo’s QEP (Qualified European Photographer) certification underlines our commitment to high-quality portrait work and exemplary lighting control. How do we work? We always start with a conversation: we listen to your wishes and discuss the mood and purpose you want the images to convey. In the studio we create a relaxed atmosphere where direction is gentle and clear — we never force poses, but help you discover natural expressions and stances. The photo session is straightforward and tailored to you; our aim is for the experience to be pleasant and for the results to be enduring. Alongside portrait photography, we also produce professional headshots and personal branding portraits for LinkedIn, CVs and other professional uses.
