I’m Wille Markkanen and at Finland Lakeland I approach portrait photography the same way I approach my other work: practically, with respect for the local environment, and with marketing needs front and centre. I operate in the Kuopio area and across Finland’s Lakeland region, and my portraits emphasise authenticity, expressiveness and usability for corporate communication. I specialise in professional portraits and corporate imagery: I photograph people for profiles, LinkedIn and marketing materials. My working style is relaxed yet organised — I conduct a pre-shoot briefing to clarify the intended use, the desired look and the best background. A separate studio is not required: shoots can take place anywhere, whether in an office, outdoors or in a nearby landscape that suits your brand. During sessions I aim to create a safe, unhurried atmosphere. Often the best expressions come from a little conversation and calm guidance, which helps people who are less used to being photographed to appear natural. I’m happy to provide long-term image deliveries and series for companies so that a brand’s visual identity remains consistent across multiple shoots. My service covers shoot planning, the photography day and post-processing so that the final images are ready for marketing use. If you wish, I can also deliver images prepared for social media or assist with their implementation. I work independently, I don’t shy away from early or late shoot times, and I schedule flexibly to meet the client’s needs.
