Sami Peltoniemi is a portrait photographer operating in the Vaasa region, with people and genuine emotion at the heart of his work. My career began as an army photographer in 2017 and continued with an internship at Esa Siltaloppi's studio and as a press photographer for the regional paper Pohjalainen — experiences that shaped a practical, hands-on approach to portrait photography. How do I work? We start with a short conversation about your wishes and practical arrangements. During the shoot I guide you toward natural presence — you are welcome to bring several outfits or a friend to help create a relaxed mood. I strive to be flexible with scheduling and can often accommodate short-notice sessions when needed. I pay careful attention to image editing and delivery: photographs are retouched with care and delivered in easy-to-share formats via cloud service.
