Prokuvat is my portrait photography studio located in the centre of Tampere, where I focus above all on the person and on capturing personality. I am photographer Rami Marjamäki, and with nearly 20 years of experience I guide subjects toward relaxed, natural expressions—whether the assignment is an individual profile picture, a passport photo, or broader staff photography for company marketing. My working method is built on technical confidence and a human-centred approach. I have full command of studio spaces and studio lighting, which allows me to concentrate during the shoot on what matters most: meeting the person and bringing out authentic expressions. The highest value for me is that the photographed person looks their best and feels comfortable in front of the camera. I use gentle direction and conversation to bring out natural posture and expression even in challenging situations. My services include profile and corporate headshots, passport photos and staff photography, available as studio or on-location shoots. The studio, conveniently situated near Tampere Cathedral, is ideal for controlled portrait sessions. If needed, I can bring studio lights and backgrounds to your premises for convenient on-site production. Image materials are always planned according to their intended use—websites, social media, magazines or marketing materials. I work flexibly with clients: we plan the basics together, agree on location and style, and on the shoot day I focus on creating a calm, trusting atmosphere. Post-processing is carried out carefully with the goal of a natural, professional result that serves the needs of businesses and private clients alike.
