I’m Pauli Impola, and portrait photography is my way of telling people’s stories with a single frame. The driving moment in my work is that instant when everything clicks into place and creates the perfect photograph. More than 30 years of experience in photojournalism and publishing have given me a sharp eye for detail, expression and atmosphere — skills that especially benefit portrait photography and professional headshots. I specialize in portrait photography in Valkeakoski: I shoot both studio-style and environmental portraits, creating a calm, trusting atmosphere so the subject can be themselves.
