Kaplin Creative Oy’s portrait photography combines journalistic sensitivity with a visual artist’s eye. I work as a portrait photographer from Järvenpää, and my starting point is always the person and their story: I want to capture genuine moments that stand the test of time and serve both personal and corporate use. Why choose me for portrait photography? I have worked professionally for many years, photographing people for media and companies and developing visual identities for brands. My goal is to create images that are both beautiful and impactful—portraits that tell more about the subject and the viewer than a thousand words. My approach is calm and authentic: I want the photographed person to feel comfortable and to be themselves in front of the camera. My style leans towards timeless, visually considered imagery. As a visual artist, I combine an aesthetic sensibility with a narrative approach—this shows in composition, the use of light and the subtle touches in post-processing. For businesses I specialise in LinkedIn headshots, website portraits and corporate image banks that help create a consistent visual look across channels. How does the process work? We begin by planning your preferences: style, intended use and the environment. On the day of the shoot I work in a relaxed, conversational manner—guiding poses and expressions when needed but also using a documentary approach so the moments feel natural. Sessions can be held in studio or at a client-chosen location in Southern Finland; I’m happy to travel further for good stories. Finally, I deliver the retouched images in the agreed formats. I offer portrait photography expertise in Järvenpää and nearby areas—with special focus on timeless personal portraits, LinkedIn and passport-style shots, and corporate image banks. If you want to plan a session, develop your company’s visual identity or discuss the purpose of a portrait, let’s create images that tell your story.
