I’m Kati Koskenmäki‑Towa and at Kati KT Photography I focus on portrait photography and corporate imagery in Kaarela and the greater Helsinki area. At the heart of my work is honesty: I aim to reveal authentic expressions, personality and the feeling of the moment without unnecessary staging. My shooting style is sensitive, natural and documentary — the results feel like you and stand the test of time. I approach every portrait session as an individual experience. Beforehand I listen to your wishes and plan the session so the outcome supports your goals — whether it’s a personal portrait, a portfolio shot or a professional profile image for LinkedIn. Creating the right atmosphere matters to me: a calm and gentle working manner helps the subject relax, which allows genuine expressions and natural presence to emerge. I shoot both in a studio in Pitäjänmäki and on location — at your home or in a place that has personal meaning. I prefer to use natural light whenever possible and carefully choose tones, contrast and composition so that each image tells a story without heavy retouching. My kit includes Canon bodies and a comprehensive selection of lenses, and I use studio lighting when the situation calls for it. My photography process is clear and warm: we plan together, I photograph at a relaxed pace and I carefully edit a selection of images. I deliver concise, professionally edited files via a password-protected online gallery where you can choose and download your images. Client usage rights and publishing permissions are discussed openly — I want the photos to be exactly what you need.
