Ihana Elämys Oy is a portrait and personal photography duo — Niina Stolt and Mirkku Merimaa. We focus especially on portrait photography and business-focused headshots: profile photos, business portraits and human-centred brand photography. We work as professionals with a constant starting point: the person and their authenticity. Why choose us for portrait photography? With over ten years of experience in personal and corporate photography, we ensure results that are both high-quality and fit for purpose — whether it’s a single LinkedIn profile photo or a series of brand images for marketing. Our style combines documentary-style authentic moments with considered portrait aesthetics. We photograph in our studio and in the client’s own environment, depending on what best suits the brand or the subject. The atmosphere in our studio is warm and supportive; we want even those who usually hesitate in front of the camera to feel comfortable and shine. How do we work? We always start with a conversation about goals: what message the images should convey and where they will be used. Together we plan style, wardrobe choices and, if needed, we offer makeup and hair services on the day of the shoot. On the shoot day we create a relaxed, professionally guided atmosphere, review test proofs together and deliver the final, print-ready high-resolution files within the agreed timetable. We operate in Laajasalo and from our studio in Helsinki’s Kalasatama, serving both private and corporate clients across Uusimaa (Greater Helsinki).
