I’m Natalia Tikka, a portrait photographer based in Suurmetsä. Photography has been a long-held dream of mine, and at the heart of my work is portrait photography — especially women’s portraits and intimate individual portraits that emphasise authenticity, emotion and individuality. My background in architecture and construction taught me a strong eye for composition and light; today I bring those values to images that tell the story of a person. I specialise in portrait work with an aim to create timeless, natural images — not just a pretty picture, but a moment that reflects your story. My approach is calm and conversational: I want you to feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Many clients feel nervous before a shoot; I do my best to keep the atmosphere relaxed and to give clear, gentle direction. The result is a collection of photos that capture smiles, glances and small gestures — fleeting moments that endure. My working method is practical and client-focused: before the session we discuss your expectations, style and preferred locations. I provide guidance on wardrobe and location choices so the visual look supports you in the best possible way. After the shoot I prepare your selected images with professional finishing — artistic treatment and light retouching where needed. Photographs are delivered securely via an online gallery, making it easy to download and share your images. I also offer family photography, focusing on genuine moments and the warmth between family members. I occasionally photograph weddings, but portrait photography is the area where I have developed my core expertise and where I choose to invest most of my energy.
